Clifton Music Boosters continues to make strides in supporting the musical endeavors of Clifton Middle School. Their recent achievement of securing a grant from The Albertsons Companies Foundation, totaling $1,430, marks another significant milestone in their ongoing efforts to enhance students' musical experiences.
The success in securing this grant can be attributed to the relentless dedication of Clifton Music Boosters, particularly their Grant Chairperson, Gina Peck-Sobolewski. "This funding, in particular, will be used to replace and repair marching band instruments," said Peck-Sobolewski.
The grant, earmarked explicitly for instrument purchases, is immensely significant for the middle school band. This investment ensures students' access to high-quality instruments, enhancing their musical learning experiences and performance opportunities.
"I am so grateful for our dedicated music booster parents who, together with myself, share my passion for providing Clifton students with a positive and enriching music education. This grant will help us purchase new quality instruments for our growing marching band program," said Music Director Tim Weed.
To thank the Albertsons Companies Foundation for the grant, the Clifton Marching band performed in front of the local Vons in Monrovia and presented the manager with a “Thank You” banner.
Thank you to all the family and community members who secured this grant and supported our students throughout the process, such as Molly Martinez, Preshes Pina, Angel Davis, Irm Macias, Carolina Macias, and others!
