Phone message for the week of March 11th

This information is for the week of March 11th:

We are so proud of our Hippie Bots who competed last Saturday in the regional competition at
Monrovia High School. We will send a separate message this week about their accomplishments.
Our boys soccer team wraps up their season this Tuesday at home at 3:30 against Oak Ave. from Temple City.
This Wednesday is a school board meeting and we will be recognizing our amazing Mrs. Bacus and amazing Mr. Simuta as the Monrovia Unified Clifton employees of the month. Come to the District office at 7:00 p.m. to cheer them on for their recognition and to thank them for giving so much to our students at staff every day.
3rd quarter ends this Friday and progress reports will be mailed home soon. This is crunch time for students. It is also an extended lunch day for our math department Pi Day activities.
Next Wednesday, March 20th is our annual Clifton Showcase and Open House. We kick the night off with Food Trucks at 5:30 and Performances begin in the auditorium at 6:00. This will be followed by more performances in our quad at 6:30. Classrooms will be open from 6:45 to 7:30 for you to see where the magic happens. And for our future Cubs, 5th grade parent night starts at 5:30 in the auditorium.

Next week our production of High School Musical Jr. opens on March 21 st and 22nd in our auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased through Centre Stage. It is going to be a great show! Ticket sales and concessions help support our continued efforts to grow the program.  Thank you in advance for your support and do not miss out on this awesome show!

Friday, March 22 is a Professional Development Days for staff and students do not have school.

On Wednesday, March 27th we will welcome all incoming 5th graders to Clifton for their showcase at 9:00 a.m. We are excited to meet our future Cubs!
