Cub Academy is a 7th period course offered four days a week in which
academic Response to Intervention opportunities are embedded within the
school day alongside enrichment opportunities. Within the Response to
Intervention offerings, there are three tiers of academic support offered in
addition to a social/emotional support class.
Students not in need of an intervention support have the option of choosing an enrichment class. This enrichment opportunity is in addition to their regular elective class period. A wide assortment of enrichment classes is offered within Cub Academy. These classes are opportunities for students to become engaged in the school community in a completely different way. These offerings include but are not limited to, event planning, chess, cross stitching, engineering, creative writing, animation, art, soccer, robotics, programming, dance, drawing, etc.
